Operation
The unit is connected as a temporary bypass to the fuel supply of the boat, and runs in conjunction with the boats normal engine management system.
Injector cleaning takes place during normal running of the engine and without disturbing existing injector connections. Once coupled the unit runs delivering a mixture of de-waxing and cleaning fluid and petrol/diesel to the injectors. Passage of fluid through the injectors dissolves the build up of fuel borne contaminants, the tars, gums and varnishes that together choke the fine orifices and filters within the injectors and lead to incorrect fuelling and inefficient combustion.
